Colorado Springs firefighters respond to apartment fire Thursday afternoon

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. — At approximately 12:46 p.m. on Thursday, July 4, Colorado Springs firefighters responded to an apartment fire at 4710 Rusina Rd.

So far, crews have said they have water on the fire and are working to completely extinguish it.

Rusina Road is currently closed in both directions.

At 1:30 p.m., the fire was declared out. Fire damage was limited to the upper corner unit. The three units below sustained water damage.

No one was injured as a result of the fire.
