Sheriff's deputies and firefighters from several Colorado agencies responded to a fire in Sedalia early Saturday morning.

The first calls were reporting an explosion on Platte Avenue and came in around 3:15 a.m. Douglas County Sheriff's deputies arrived to find a home and RV on fire.

They began evacuating homes when firefighters from several agencies, including South Metro Fire Rescue and West Douglas Fire, arrived and began working to put out the fire.
