Colleton County Sheriff's Office makes additional arrests in triple homicide

On Tuesday, June 18, 2024, detectives with the Colleton County Sheriff's Office arrested Justin Dupont, 23, of Walterboro, South Carolina, in connection with a triple homicide. Dupont is charged with three counts of murder. The Colleton County Sheriff's Office responded to a residence located at 105 Hayden Street, Walterboro, South Carolina, just after 3:30 a.m. on Saturday, May 18, 2024, after reports of the deaths of three victims. The victims, Harvel Breland 49, Alisha Gardner 43 and Asiyra Cole 2, were shot and killed in a targeted attack. Shortly after the murders, detectives released an image of a vehicle believed to be involved in the incident. This vehicle was eventually located and identified as being registered to Jameek Glover, who had previously been arrested for accessory to murder after the fact. Detectives continued to process the evidence and as a result the charges against Glover were upgraded to three counts of murder.

The Colleton County Sheriff’s Office is working diligently to bring the remaining co-defendant involved to justice.

Dupont and Glover are being held at the Colleton County Detention Center. Their bond hearings will be held this afternoon at 3 p.m. at the Colleton County Jail.
