CoD: Warzone and MW3 Season 4 Battle Pass Brings Back Soap and Kar98k, Plus Spooky Emoji Operators

Call of Duty Season 4 comes to Modern Warfare 3, Warzone and Warzone Mobile on May 29. Activision has revealed the Battle Pass packs and content arriving with the big update, including new unlockable weapons, a new BlackCell pack, a crossover with the Gundam franchise, and operators with creepy emoji heads.

There are free and premium tiers of the pass, and Call of Duty's $30 extra-premium BlackCell bundle also returns. This season's BlackCell Pack is themed around two Operators called Dupe and Copy, which also include a unique finishing move that copies the enemy's Operator skin and equips them for a single life.

Two weapons are included in the free tiers of the pass. The Kar98k sniper rifle is unlocked in sector 5 and the Superi 46 submachine gun is obtained in sector 6.

The standard battle pass includes an instant unlock for a Soap operator skin as well as a new operator called Hammer. Johnny “Soap” MacTavish was killed by Makarov in the final moments of the Modern Warfare 3 campaign, but it is unclear whether he is truly revived in the Season 4 story. Activision describes his skins as a way to 'honor his heritage'. Players who purchase the BlackCell upgrade for the pass will receive an additional BlackCell skin for both operators.

Void is another new Operator introduced with Season 4, and she is unlocked in Sector 16. Additional battle pass skins are included for Hush, Ripper, Jet, Pathfinder, Nolan, and Alpine.

The pass includes 20 weapon blueprints and an assortment of Zombies cosmetics and consumables, including Calling Cards, Weapon Charms, Emblems, Finishing Moves, CoD Points, XP Tokens, and more Again.

Activision's blog post revealed images of BlackCell Operators, weapon blueprints, and several new store packs, all of which can be seen in the images below. Highlights of the store's new items include three Gundam Operator Packs, a Tracer Pack that includes four different emoji face Operator skins, and a Wild Bat Pack.
