Clorinde Best Weapon Build and Artifact Build in Genshin Impact

Clorinde is a 5-star Electro character that first appeared in Genshin Impact during version 4.0. The Champion Duelist debuts with version 4.7. In this Genshin Impact guide, we will talk about Clorinda, her abilities, her weapon and artifact build, and her ideal team compositions.

Genshin Impact Guide – Weapon and Artifact Building Clorinde

Clorinde will be available during the first phase of version 4.7. It will be available until June 25, 2024 alongside Alhaitham.

Clorinda's Abilities Overview

We already have an article detailing Clorinda's abilities, however, for this guide we will quickly review them.

Clorinde's normal attack allows her to attack up to five times. His charged attack will consume a fixed amount of stamina to fire suppressive fan shots from his pistol. Her diving attack allows her to strike the ground below her, dealing physical area damage on impact.

Her elemental skill, Hunter's Vigil, causes Clorinda to enter the “Night Vigil” state, changing her normal attack to “Swift Hunt” gun attacks and her elemental skill to “Impale The Night”. Clorinda's DMG is converted to Electro DMG when she is in the “Night Watch” state.

When Clorinde uses Swift Hunt, she fires her Pistol, dealing Electro DMG to her target and giving them lifelink. This can pierce enemies. Using Impale The Night, on the other hand, Clorinde will perform a rush attack, dealing AoE DMG and healing Clorinde based on her lifelink value.

The higher Clorinda's lifelink, the more damage and healing she does. Performing Impale at Night when Lifelink's value is 100% of his maximum HP instead launches Impale at Night: Pact, an even more powerful version of Impale at Night.

Her elemental burst, Last Nightfall, grants CLorinde Bond of Life based on her max HP, while dealing AoE Electro DMG to enemies around her.

When upgrading his talents, upgrade his skill first, as this increases the Swift Hunt and Impale the Night DMG deals. Then, upgrade his Burst to increase his DMG, as well as the resulting Lifelink gain. Finally, increase her normal attack, as you will generally only use Clorinda when her skill is increased.

Clorinda Weapons Guide

The values listed below are at R5.

Absolution: CRIT DMG increased by 40%. Increasing the value of a lifelink increases the damage dealt by the equipping character by 32% for 6 seconds. Max 3 batteries.

Absolution is Clorinda's best weapon, as it works very well with her elemental skill. Since Clorinda will constantly increase and refresh her lifelink, it's very easy to reach max stats with this sword, giving her up to 96% more DMG.

The sword also gives Clorinde up to 40% Crit DMG, up to 84.1% at level 90. This makes it easier for players to get a good crit/DMG rate with Clorinde.

Haran Geppaku Futsu: Get 24% bonus to all elemental DMG. When other nearby party members use elemental skills, the character equipping this weapon will gain 1 Wavespike stack. Max 2 batteries. This effect can be triggered once every 0.3 sec. When the character equipping this weapon uses an elemental skill, all stacks of Wavespike will be consumed to gain Rippling Upheaval: each stack of Wavespike consumed will increase normal attack DMG by 40% for 8 seconds.

This is another decent 5-star sword for Clorinda, as it buffs her elemental DMG and increases her normal attack DMG. This works for Clorinde because Swift Hunt is considered a normal attack DMG, so it will be buffed once Clorinde enters the field with this weapon.

This has its drawbacks. The first is that it is a 5-star sword only available when Ayato is on the banner. The other is that the player must adhere to a strict rotation to maximize the bonus DMG they receive.

Mistplitter Reforged: Gain a 24% Elemental DMG bonus to all elements and receive the power of the Mistsplitter Emblem. At stack levels 1/2/3, the Mistsplitter Emblem provides a 16/32/56% elemental DMG bonus for the character's elemental type. The character will obtain 1 stack of the Mistsplitter emblem in each of the following scenarios: The normal attack deals elemental damage (the stack lasts 5 sec), launching an elemental burst (the stack lasts 10 sec); Energy is less than 100% (battery disappears when energy is full). The duration of each battery is calculated independently.

This is another decent all-around weapon for Clorinda as it greatly improves her elemental DMG, up to 80% at max stacks. Not only that, but it also gives Clorinda a significant amount of Crit DMG.

The weapon's downside, however, is similar to the Haran Geppaku Futsu in that it is a 5-star sword that is only available when Ayaka is on the banner. Another drawback is that to maximize the bonus, the player must start a fight with full Energy, which will not always be the case.

Finale of the Deep: When using an elemental skill, ATK will be increased by 24% for 15 seconds and a lifelink worth 25% of max HP will be granted. This effect can be triggered once every 10 seconds. When lifelink is released, a maximum of 300 ATK will be gained based on 4.8% of the total amount of lifelink released, lasting 15 seconds.

This is perhaps the best F2P weapon for Clorinda, as it provides bonus ATK when Clorinda uses her elemental skill, as well as when she clears her lifelink. Since Clorinda can easily stack and clear Lifelinks, she essentially has 100% uptime for damage bonuses.

Iron Sting: Dealing Elemental DMG increases all DMG by 12% for 6 sec. Max 2 batteries. May occur once every 1 sec.

Despite being a meme thanks to her using it in previous patches, Iron Sting is a surprisingly decent weapon for Clorinda. However, to fully optimize it, players should use it in an Elemental Reaction Team, as Iron Sting grants Elemental Mastery.

Clorinda Artifacts Guide

Harmonic fantasy fragment in 4 pieces

  • ATK +18%.
  • When a lifelink's value increases or decreases, this character deals 18% more damage for 6 seconds. Max 3 batteries.

This may be the best artifact set for Clorinda thanks to her Bond of Life addiction. Since Clorinde's empowered attacks will always increase her lifelink, it will be easy for her to get a 54% DMG increase at max stats.

4-Piece Thundering Fury

  • Electro DMG Bonus +15%
  • Increases the DMG caused by Overloaded, Electro-Charged, Superconduct, and Hyperbloom by 40%, and the bonus DMG granted by Aggravate is increased by 20%. When Quicken or the aforementioned elemental reactions are triggered, Elemental Skill CD is decreased by 1 sec. Can only occur once every 0.8 sec.

This is a good alternate artifact set for Clorinda, as it boosts her damage in Elemental Reaction teams. This will also increase the availability of her skill thanks to the elemental skill CD decreasing by 1 second each time she performs one of the elemental reactions linked to the artifact set.

Gladiator Finale in 4 pieces

  • ATK +18%
  • If the wielder of this artifact set uses a Sword, Claymore, or Polearm, increases their Normal Attack DMG by 35%.

This is a simpler artifact set for Clorinda because it increases her DMG in two ways. The first is to increase his ATK by 18%, which increases his overall DMG. The other is via increased Normal Attack DMG, which will increase the DMG of its Swift Hunt offerings.

Main Artifact Statistics

As for the main artifact stats, get ATK% for the Sands, Electro DMG bonus for the Goblet, and CRIT or DMG rate for the Crown, depending on the sword you're using. For substats, focus on CRIT Rate and CRIT DMG (depending on your needs), Energy Recharge, and more ATK.

Clorinde team guide

Thanks to Clorinde's passive skill that increases her DMG whenever electro-related reactions occur, Clorinde excels as the primary DPS of electro-based teams. As such, here are some examples of teams that players can lead with Clorinde:

Aggravate team: Clorinde, Kirara, Fischl, Sucrose

As mentioned above, Clorinde will be the main DPS of this team, responsible for applying Electro on enemies. Kirara can provide the shields and off-field Dendro application with her Burst, while Fischle serves as another off-field Electro applicator. Sucrose is there to group enemies together, making it easier for Clorinde to eliminate them.

Of course, this team is flexible. Bringing Nahida or the Dendro Traveler instead of Kirara would work, as would bringing Yae Miko or C6 Kujou Sara. Kazuha can also fill the role of crowd control, as well as providing whirlwind in addition to aggravation.

Hybrid team: Clorinde, Fischl, Kirara, Xingqiu

This is another good team for Clorinda, focusing more on a combination of elemental reactions. The rotation involves Kirara applying Dendro, Xingqiu creating Blooms with them, and Clorinde stepping in to cause Hyperbloom.

Between Bloom's creation, Clorinde, Kirara, and Fischl can instead activate aggravating reactions, filling the gap between Bloom's creation with damage.

Instead of Xingqiu, players can choose to bring Furina and Yelan. Likewise, players can bring Nahida instead of Kirara for Dendro applications.

Overload team: Clorinde, Fischl, Chevreuse, Thoma

This is perhaps the most accessible team for Clorinda because it involves 4-star characters. This team relies heavily on the buffs and heals provided by Chevreuse whenever Overload is triggered, so using her and Clorinde correctly is essential for this team to work.

Fischl will provide off-field Electro DMG, while Thoma will provide healing as well as off-field Pyro damage. As long as the player can consistently deal Overload DMG, they will be able to use this team well.

Of course, there are other teams that the player can ruin with Clorinda in Genshin Impact. These teams simply serve as a guideline for players who need a starting point.

That's it for our guide on Clorinda's best weapon and artifact builds in Genshin Impact. Clorinda will be available with the arrival of the first half of Genshin Impact Version 4.6. Once this increase is completed, players will have to wait for another increase to obtain it.
