Cleveland Police: Man Dead After Stabbing, Suspect Arrested

CLEVELAND — A suspect has been arrested in connection with the fatal stabbing of a 64-year-old man.

According to the Cleveland Division of Police, the incident occurred on Tuesday, May 28 around 12 p.m. Officers responded to the 8300 block of Lake Avenue to receive reports of an “unknown problem.” When officers arrived on scene, they found the victim suffering from multiple injuries, apparently caused by a stab wound. Cleveland EMS pronounced the victim dead at the scene.

After an initial investigation, police arrested a 44-year-old man in connection with the stabbing.

The Cleveland Division of Police Homicide Unit continues to investigate the incident.

The names of the victim and suspect have not yet been released.
