Clark Couny Sheriff Issues Sex Offender Release Notice for Loyal, WI

LOYAL, WI (OnFocus) – The Clark County Sheriff's Office is releasing the following information in accordance with Wisconsin State Statute 301.46(2m) which authorizes law enforcement to notify the public of the release of a sex offender when, in the discretion of the agency, the release of information will enhance the safety, awareness, and protection of the public. The person appearing on this notice has been convicted of a sexual offense. Additionally, his criminal history places him at a classification level that reflects the potential to recidivate.

This sex offender served the sentence imposed on him by the courts. He is NOT wanted by law enforcement at this time. This notification is not intended to increase fear; rather, we believe that an informed public is a safer public.

Sex offenders have always lived in our communities; but it wasn't until the Sex Offender Registration and Community Notification Act was enacted that law enforcement was able to share this information with the community. Citizen abuse of this information to threaten, intimidate, or harass registered sex offenders will not be tolerated.

Mark M. Davis has already completed his sentence and will be residing in Clark County on Tuesday, June 18, 2024. He will be residing at W3539 Heintown Rd Loyal WI 54446. This information is being provided to ensure the public is aware of the existence of Mr. Release of Davis to the community.

Mr. Davis will be supervised by a Wisconsin Department of Corrections officer who specializes in intensive supervision. Special supervision conditions include a ban on unsupervised contact with minors. He must not use any drugs, comply with standard sex offender rules, cooperate with electronic monitoring, have face-to-face contact with law enforcement, and comply with all offender registration program requirements sexual relations of Wisconsin. If Mr. Davis violates any of these rules or conditions of his supervised release, he will be taken into custody and detained.
