Arcata City Council

When: First and third Wednesday of every month at 6 p.m.

Where: City Hall Council Chambers: 736 F St., Arcata

• The municipal council meeting of July 3 is canceled.

Redwoods College Board of Trustees

When: The first Tuesday of the month at 1 p.m.

Where: 7351 Tompkins Hill Road, Eureka

• The board of directors will review the objectives for 2023-2025.

• The Board of Trustees will consider awarding Woods Pest Control a contract for pest control services on the Eureka and Del Norte campuses.

• Council will receive an update on emergency preparedness planning.

• The board will meet in camera for an evaluation of the superintendent's performance.

Eureka City Council

When: The first and third Tuesday of the month at 6 p.m.

Where: Eureka City Council Chambers: 531 K St., Eureka

• The July 2 meeting is canceled.

Fortuna City Council

When: First and third Monday of every month at 6 p.m.

Where: City Hall Council Chambers 621 11th St, Fortuna

• The council will receive a presentation from the police chief on congratulations.

• The council will hold public hearings on increasing water and wastewater rates.

Humboldt County Board of Supervisors

When: Every Tuesday except the fifth Tuesday of the month at 9 a.m.

Where: Supervisors Chambers: 825 Fifth St., Eureka

• The Board of Directors will mark the 100th anniversary of the Fortuna Garden Club.

• The board will consider reducing public office hours in many county departments to Monday through Thursday, 8:30 a.m. to 2 p.m.

• The council will consider adopting the workplace violence prevention plan.

• The council will consider another exception to the hiring freeze for the Humboldt County Sheriff's Office.
