Chrisean Rock sentenced in Los Angeles after felony fugitive arrested

The rapper's arrest followed a felony warrant out of Oklahoma.

More details about Chrisean Rock's sentencing in Los Angeles, California

As The Shade Room previously reported, on Thursday, June 13, Rock's booking file with the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department indicated that she was being held on a felony charge. Additionally, he noted that his first court appearance was that morning. Additionally, it showed that she was being held under “NO BAIL” and that “no information” was available on her release date.

Later that day, Rock's booking record was updated to show that his felony charge had been reduced to a misdemeanor. Additionally, she was still held under “NO BAIL”. And Rock's file now showed that she had been placed on hold by Oklahoma authorities.

As of Monday, June 17, Rock's recording now shows that she also appeared in court on Friday, June 14. On that date, she would have been sentenced to 30 days in prison. Additionally, she is being held at the Century Regional Detention Center in Lynwood, California.

It should be noted that Rock's filing still indicates that she is suspended by Oklahoma authorities.

The shadow room contacted the Los Angeles Sheriff's Department on June 17 for more information on Rock's booking record. An officer explained that the rapper's misdemeanor charge was for “assault with a deadly weapon without a firearm.” Additionally, they revealed that the charge was solely related to a complaint filed against the rapper in California.

The officer did not note in which case the charges were filed. However, it's worth noting that in February, James Wright Chanel filed assault charges against the rapper in the state, according to The Shade Room.

Additionally, the agent confirmed that Rock was sentenced to 30 days in CRDF. Once her sentence was completed, they explained that she would be extradited to Oklahoma to try her original case and charges.

Why was Chrisean Rock arrested on a felony fugitive warrant?

As The Shade Room previously reported, Rock's arrest at the Van Nuys West courthouse on June 10 was prompted by an open “fugitive warrant” stemming from a case in Oklahoma.

TMZ initially reported that Rock was wanted for “possession of marijuana with intent to distribute and possession of a controlled dangerous substance.” The charges allegedly stem from her arrest in the state on February 18, 2022. According to the Oklahoma State Courts Network, Rock was also cited for refusing a traffic ticket on that date.

Rock's Oklahoma filing indicates that Rock pleaded not guilty to the charges on October 7, 2022. On March 15, 2023, Rock reappeared in court and his sentencing on each charge was postponed for “four years until March 15.” . 2027.” Additionally, Rock was ordered to pay her court costs on a payment plan and perform 120 hours of community service at a homeless shelter “within six months.”

At the time, Rock was then placed on supervised probation and ordered not to violate any “municipal, state or federal” laws in the state.

However, on August 13, 2023, Rock was “charged with a new violent offense” against a woman in Fort Washington, Maryland. Then, in November 2023, authorities were notified that Rock allegedly assaulted James Wright Chanel at a Tamar Braxton concert. Both incidents were noted in a supplemental report in Rock's Oklahoma case on November 21, 2023. Additionally, it was noted that Chrisean “fled the supervision” of his parole officer.

Eventually, an arrest warrant was issued for Rock. However, her exact whereabouts were unclear until authorities were able to locate her and take her into custody on June 10.

Where are Blueface and Chrisean Jr.?

As The Shade Room previously reported, Rock was present at the Van Nuys West courthouse on June 10 to support Blueface during a court hearing. The rapper is currently incarcerated for a probation violation.

It's still unclear exactly what happened at Blueface's hearing on June 10. However, according to Fox 11 Los Angeles, the rapper is expected to reappear in court on July 29.

Note that it was previously reported that Blueface was scheduled to be released from prison on July 2, according to The Shade Room.
