China supplies various weapons components to the Russian market

Ukrainian defense intelligence has information that weapons components from China are entering the Russian market. Similar data is also provided by Western intelligence agencies that maintain partnership relations with our state.

This was stated by Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy.

As noted, the occupiers receive weapons components from China, which then enter the domestic market of the aggressor country. Moreover, the weapons that Russia uses against our country contain components produced by other countries.

“Today, various intelligence agencies, including Ukrainian ones, report that something is somehow penetrating the Russian market through China. I would be very consistent here. There are indeed certain components that make part of the armament of the Russian Federation, which are elements of one or another weapon, coming from China”, underlined Volodymyr Zelenskyy.

He also adds that “the matter does not stop” at the Chinese details. For the production of weapons, Russia still uses components produced by other countries in the world.

Zelensky, however, cautioned against any conclusions that these countries were deliberately selling their weapons to Russia.
