Child trafficking is the topic of the GOP roundtable (June 20) | Pelican Post

Hal Hutchinson, “Team Adam” consultant with the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children, is the speaker at the June Ascension GOP Roundtable, sponsored by Ascension Republican Women. The panel discussion will take place Thursday, June 20 at 11:30 a.m. at the Clarion Inn, 1500 W. Highway 30 in Gonzales. (11:30 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. – Meet and Greet; Noon – Program) Doors open at 11:15 a.m.

Hal Huchinson's career in law enforcement spans 33 years. He started with the New Orleans Sheriff, then spent 29 years with the Louisiana State Police where he worked in the Bureau of Investigations as an undercover narcotics agent and detective in general investigations and games. For ten years, Hutchinson was assigned to the Crimes Against Children Unit, responsible for investigating sex crimes against children. As part of these investigations, he trained as a child forensic investigator and conducted more than 300 interviews with child victims of sexual abuse. After retiring from the LSP, he was appointed Chief of Police for the Chitimacha Tribe until 2022. Currently, Hutchinson works at the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children as a “Team Adam” consultant.
