Chiefs' Isaiah Buggs allegedly dragged mother of his child down stairs

Details surrounding the latest arrest of the Chiefs' Isaiah Buggs were revealed Tuesday, with disturbing allegations leveled against the defensive lineman.

Buggs was accused of dragging the mother of his child down a flight of stairs and injuring her before leaving the scene after the woman told Buggs she was calling the police, according to court documents viewed by TMZ.

Court documents say the alleged victim told law enforcement that Buggs, 27, broke into her home in Tuscaloosa, Alabama, with a tire iron around 5:28 a.m. Sunday, then went up to upstairs.

During the confrontation, she alleges that Buggs' actions caused her to break several clip-on nails, while police noted “scratch marks” on the woman's arms following the incident, according to the TMZ report.

Buggs was charged with domestic violence and burglary.

The lineman had been booked into the Tuscaloosa County Jail on a mandatory 24-hour hold on domestic violence charges and his bond was set at $5,000, according to Tuscaloosa Patch.

It was the second time in a month that Buggs was arrested after being charged with two counts of second-degree animal cruelty in May.

Buggs also faces other allegations that he shoved Tuscaloosa Police Chief Brent Blankley in April and pointed a handgun at a patron at Kings Hookah Lounge, which Buggs owns.

A Tuscaloosa County District Court judge revoked Buggs' bond Monday following his weekend arrest following an alleged domestic violence incident, the Tuscaloosa Patch reported.

As part of the state's motion to revoke Buggs' bond, he argued that he violated his previous bond conditions when he was arrested Sunday.

Buggs has maintained his innocence with the other charges, and his agent, Trey Robinson, has claimed they are part of an “ongoing subversive campaign” aimed at forcing Buggs to close the hookah lounge he owns in Tuscaloosa.
