Chelsea set to sign Marc Guiu after agreeing deal with Barcelona

Chelsea have reached an agreement in principle with Barcelona to sign 18-year-old striker Marc Guiu according to David Ornstein.

The Blues have been busy in the transfer market having already signed Tosin Adarabioyo on a free transfer from neighbors Fulham, and an official announcement is expected this week for Omari Kellyman, who is close to completing his 19 million transfer of pounds sterling from Aston Villa.

Ornstein reported in The Athletic that Chelsea have reached an agreement in principle on a long-term contract until 2030 with the Spanish striker.

Reports add that the Blues are set to activate Guiu's €6 million release clause and will then arrange a medical in London before officially finalizing the transfer.

Guiu is set to become Chelsea's third summer signing.

Guiu came through the ranks of Barcelona's famous La Masia academy and broke into the first team under Xavi last season, making seven appearances.
