Leeds United winger Crysencio Summerville is yet to make official approaches from Premier League clubs, but Chelsea and Liverpool are expected to bid soon.

Los Blancos will have a battle to keep several players this summer, but whose sale seems almost certain.

Championship player of the season Crysencio Summerville has proven he is above the second tier and offers will be coming soon.

Chelsea and Liverpool expected to lodge offers for Summerville soon

The winger is currently heavily linked with several Premier League clubs, with the two most notable at this stage being Chelsea and Liverpool.

Both are under new managers this summer with Enzo Maresca at Stamford Bridge and Arne Slot at Anfield – both apparently impressed by Summerville, the Italian first-hand in the Championship and Slot, a fellow Dutchman joining from Feyenoord.

LeedsLive has now relayed claims that no bid has yet been tabled for the Leeds star man, but adds that Liverpool and Chelsea are expected to change that soon in the summer window.

Happy to see Aaronson again?

As for the fee Leeds can expect to receive for the Dutch sensation, it is also stated in the report that Summerville could command around £35m.

He joined Feyenoord in 2020 for a reported fee of £1.3 million, representing a huge profit for the Elland Road club.

Summerville has what it takes to play Chelsea or Liverpool

There should be no doubt about Summerville's abilities to play at the level Liverpool and Chelsea expect.

He is talented enough to take that step and would be a success for these teams if given time to develop.

The problem is that these clubs are under so much pressure with their investments, given that the battle to get into the top four opens up every year.

Summerville won't have time to adjust, he'll have to get on with it from the start if he moves to either.
