Cheboygan County Sheriff's Department welcomes new K-9

CHEBOYGAN — The newest member of the Cheboygan County Sheriff's Department is 18-month-old Chip, a Belgian Malinois who is joining the K-9 division.

The department received its first dog in 2007.

“Now the addition of Chip will bring us back to having two dogs to assist our deputies and other law enforcement agencies,” Undersheriff Josh Ginop said in a news release.
