Police closed part of Shallowford Road during their investigation. They concluded that the victim was in a vehicle near the gas pumps when the suspects got out of another car and began shooting at the victim's car. Police also said there were other people in the vehicle with the victim who were not shot.

Police said the driver of the car the victim was in tried to flee, but they then crashed in nearby woods.

When the police arrived, the suspects had already left the scene.

Now, Ray and Collins face charges of attempted first-degree murder and reckless endangerment.

Collins also faces a charge of possession of drugs for resale.
