Chatham deputies search for missing autistic man

Chatham County deputies are searching for a missing man who hasn't been seen since Friday evening. Stanley Stone, 20, was last seen at his home on Croatan Street between 8am and 8.30am on Friday. He is 4 feet 7 inches tall, weighs 112 pounds, has black hair and brown eyes, and was wearing black sweatpants and a white shirt. CCSO says Stone is high-functioning autistic and is not a danger to himself or the community. But, given Stone's state of health, police are urgently searching for the 20-year-old. Deputies tell us Stone is known to wander around the Guyton area, specifically near Saddlehorn Drive. If you see Stone, call 911 immediately.
