CHARLESTON, W.Va. — Police are investigating a fatal stabbing.

It happened shortly before 9:30 a.m. Wednesday near the GoMart truck stop on the east end of the town of Kanawha.

The victim was transported to the hospital and was later pronounced dead. Police have a suspect in custody.

The investigation is ongoing.
