Chandler Street stabbing: Worcester man charged

WORCESTER, MA — Worcester police have arrested and charged a local man in connection with a broad daylight stabbing along Chandler Street earlier this month.

Passersby alerted police around 3:30 p.m. on May 2. Officers found the victim injured and lying on the sidewalk near the corner of Murray Avenue. The victim was transported to a local hospital for treatment of his injuries.

Last Thursday, police arrested Austin Street resident Joseph Erb, 35, on a warrant in connection with the stabbing.
