Bullhead City man arrested on suspicion of fatally stabbing uncle

Authorities said officers responded to a home near Colina Drive and Ramar Road around 8:30 p.m. on June 29 following reports of a weapons violation where they found Steven Anderson, 53, in critical condition with multiple stab wounds.

Paramedics took Anderson to a hospital where he died of his injuries, authorities said. Investigators later linked the stabbing to Don Kelso, 30.

Fort Mojave Tribal Police found Kelso walking near King Street and Interstate 95 in Mohave Valley around 6 a.m. on June 30 and booked him into the Mohave County Jail in Kingman on a charge of first-degree murder.

Kelso's next court date was not immediately available.
