“Bring back your daughter” | Pullman Police Ask for Public's Help in Finding Missing 2-Year-Old

The Pullman Police Department is the lead agency in the search and investigation. Aaron Aung, her fiancé and her 2-year-old daughter haven't been seen in a week.

PULLMAN, Wash. — Aaron Aung and his daughter, Seraya Aung Harmon, were last seen on Wednesday, May 29. He and his daughter were reported missing Monday after failing to show up for a planned custody exchange with the girl's mother.

The Pullman Police Department issued a warrant for Aung's arrest for first-degree custodial interference. Police say Aung violated a Latah County District Court parenting plan by retaining custody of her missing 2-year-old child.

Police say Aung's fiancée, Nadia Cole, is with Aung and his daughter. Cole has also not been seen since May 29 at SEATAC airport.

“It’s more than a coincidence that she disappeared at the same time,” Pullman Police Commander Aaron Breshears said.

Her father told our sister station KING 5 that his family was preparing to fly to Europe for a graduation trip. At the airport, Cole's father says Nadia said she was “going to the bathroom” before disappearing. Cole's father says his daughter was caught on security footage leaving the airport, boarding the light rail, then leaving at the University Street station in Seattle.

In a statement to KREM 2 from Cole's parents, Beata and Kirk Cole, they say: “Nadia is cherished by the hundreds of people who knew her, and the circumstances surrounding her disappearance are completely out of character. We are completely devastated. by his disappearance and we pray fervently for his safe return.”

Pullman police say they believe Cole is not in any danger and police say their main priority is getting Seraya back to her mother.

“Just bring your daughter back. Talk to the local police. Our concern right now is not about arresting you. It's about getting your daughter back to her mother, where the court ordered. That's where that it's supposed to be,” Breshears said.

The Pullman Police Department is the lead agency in the search and investigation.

Breshears said, “We are focusing our research on Washington state, Idaho and Montana.”

Other agencies assisting include the FBI, Moscow Police, the Port of Seattle and the Flathead County Sheriff's Office in Montana.

If you or someone you know has information on the whereabouts of Seraya, Aung or Cole, you are encouraged to call Pullman Police at 509-334-0802.
