Brentwood police search for stabbing suspect

The Brentwood Police Department is asking the public for help in identifying a suspect in a recent stabbing.

According to police, on June 25 around 7:15 p.m., Brentwood officers responded to the 7800 block of Brentwood Boulevard for a stabbing that had just occurred. The victim, an adult male, was transported to a local hospital for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries.

Police are asking the public for any information regarding the identity of the suspect in this CCTV photo or any other information regarding this incident.

As reported to our EastCountyToday club members, Contra Costa County Firefighters responded to the 7800 block of Brentwood Blvd for a victim who had been stabbed in the leg. A medical helicopter was requested and landed at Liberty High School. The suspect had fled the scene. No further information on the Brentwood stabbing has been provided.
