PLYMOUTH, Mass. (WLNE) — A man accused of stabbing multiple people in a single day is scheduled to appear in court.

In May, Jared Ravizza, 26, appeared before a judge in Plymouth on two counts of assault and battery with a dangerous weapon and assault with intent to murder in connection with the stabbing of two McDonald's rest area employees.

In Quincy District Court, Ravizza was charged with four counts of assault to murder and four counts of assault and battery with a dangerous weapon in connection with the stabbing of four girls in a room Braintree cinema on the same day.

Ravizza also could face additional charges in connection with a murder investigation in Connecticut, according to officials.

Ravizza was undergoing a mental evaluation at Bridgewater State Hospital and was scheduled to have another court hearing on June 17, but that was rescheduled by the judge until July 1.
