Ravizza faces four charges each of attempted murder and assault and battery with a dangerous weapon in Braintree. He will be arraigned later in Quincy District Court, police said.

The stabbing at the theater first occurred around 6 p.m. when Ravizza entered the AMC Braintree 10 in the 100 block of Grandview Avenue, walked through the ticket window, entered the one of the theaters without paying and stabbed the four girls, without provocation and without warning, police said. . He then fled the theater in a black SUV, police said.

The girls, aged 9 to 17, suffered non-life-threatening injuries and were taken to a hospital for treatment, police said.

Braintree police said Tuesday that all four victims were “improving and healing.”

“This crime appears completely senseless and random, perpetrated against innocent and completely defenseless children,” police said.

“We would like to draw attention to the courage shown by these four young women, both following the incident and during their recovery. Each victim improves and heals, and our thoughts and support are with them as they go through this difficult time. “.

Plymouth stabbed

Around 7 p.m., Ravizza approached the drive-thru window of a McDonald's at the Highway 3 Exit 13 rest stop in Plymouth and, following a dispute over payment, stabbed two workers and fled south on Route 3, police said.

Surveillance video from the restaurant showed Ravizza stabbing a male victim with a large knife through the drive-thru window, then parking his car and going inside before stabbing a female victim, the prosecutor's office said. The employees, both in their 20s, suffered non-life-threatening injuries and were taken to a hospital, according to police.

After Ravizza fled the rest area, state troopers attempted to stop his SUV, but it did not stop and crashed, according to police. He was driving a 2018 Porsche Macan and was arrested around 7:15 p.m. in Sandwich, the prosecutor's office said.

He faces charges including assault with intent to murder and two counts of assault and battery with a dangerous weapon, according to the district attorney's office.

Deep River Investigation

Both WFXT and WBTS cited one or more law enforcement sources in naming the attacker and reported that Ravizza was also linked to a death investigation in Deep River, Connecticut.

The Connecticut incident occurred earlier Saturday, with police responding to a Deep River address and finding a body around 3:30 p.m., according to authorities, who said a person was arrested in Masschusetts in connection with the death .
