Bradley Airport worker arrested for sexual assault

A Bradley International Airport employee was arrested Friday after allegedly sexually assaulting a co-worker, state police said.

Just before 8:30 a.m. Friday, troopers from Troop H at Bradley International Airport were contacted by an airport employee who wanted to report that a co-worker had allegedly sexually harassed her, according to State Police. Connecticut.

Officers met with the woman who said she was approached Friday morning by an airline employee identified as Ryan Gordon, 41, of East Hartford. The woman alleged Gordon “engaged in unwanted touching of a sexual nature” during their interaction, state police said.

The woman told state police she walked away from Gordon and returned to her job. She also alleged that shortly after, Gordon approached her again and began making sexual comments to her, prompting her to leave the area, according to state police.

The woman said she then contacted her supervisor, who was not in the area, and reported Gordon's actions, state police said. According to the woman, the supervisor said he would talk to Gordon about the incident.

While the woman waited for her supervisor, she alleged Gordon approached again, making suggestive comments and “engaging in unwanted touching of a sexual nature,” according to state police.

At that point, the woman told state police she walked away from Gordon, left the area and located her supervisor, who reported the incident to Bradley Airport Operations, state police said.

According to State Police, officers reviewed security camera footage from the area where the alleged incidents took place and “determined that the footage corroborated the complainant's account of the incident.” State police said officers obtained a copy of the security camera footage to process as evidence in the investigation.

As a result of the investigation, Gordon was taken into custody and charged with fourth-degree sexual assault.

Gordon was later released on a $2,500 non-surety bond and is scheduled to appear in Hartford Superior Court on June 14, state police said.
