Boy missing while hiking found dead on Trail 5

ISLAMABAD: The body of a 15-year-old boy who went missing while hiking was found on Trail 5 in Islamabad, ARY News reported on Monday quoting Wildlife Department sources.

Police say the missing teen's body was found in a deep ditch into which he could have fallen.

The body was located by officers from the Department of Forestry and Environment who informed the police.

Police and rescue workers are working to recover the body from the ditch on Trail 5 in Islamabad. An iron bar will be used to recover Taha's body, emergency services said.

After being identified, Taha's family members rushed to the scene to identify the body.

Initial findings suggest the boy slipped into the ditch and succumbed to his injuries.
