Boxing star Ryan Garcia arrested for vandalism at luxury Beverly Hills hotel: report

Controversial boxer Ryan Garcia was arrested Saturday for criminal vandalism at a luxury Beverly Hills hotel, according to a report.

Garcia, 25, was seen wearing a helmet as police escorted him outside the lobby of the Waldorf Astoria hotel following an incident that afternoon, TMZ reported.

The boxer “was taken by BHPD to a local hospital for evaluation and treatment and, as far as we know, could be charged with public intoxication,” Garcia's attorney told the outlet.

Damages over $400 are considered a felony under California law.

The former WBC interim lightweight champion was also allegedly under the influence of alcohol or drugs, TMZ reported.

Garcia was led out of the hotel peacefully and without issue.

Authorities reportedly conducted a health check on Garcia on Wednesday when a family member expressed concern about the boxer's well-being.

Police responded to the hotel early in the evening before determining that Garcia was fine and that no other crime had been committed, a police source told TMZ at the time.

Garcia was later seen on Rodeo Drive with his brother, Sean, the outlet added.

Garcia, who is 25-1, was at the center of another scandal after testing positive for PEDs before his victory over Devin Haney in April.

The tests were conducted by the Voluntary Anti-Doping Association before the fight, but the results were not known until afterward, ESPN reported.

A week later, he was cleared of a potentially positive drug test for the metabolite 19-norandrosterone after his B sample was tested, according to Forbes.

In January, Garcia announced the birth of his first son, before announcing that he and his model wife were on the verge of divorce.

“Praise the Lord. I'm so grateful, I love him so much already. He's already so fast haha. It only took him 8 minutes to arrive,” Garcia wrote along with a photo of baby Henry.

“As I enter a new chapter in my life, it is with a heavy heart to share that Drea and I have decided to divorce,” Garcia said in a now-deleted Instagram post shared by TMZ.

A few months later, the boxer proposed to adult film star Savannah Bond on a private plane, but the engagement was called off shortly after.

Garcia announced the news on the “BS w/Jake Paul” podcast, confirming that the two had broken up.

Days after her engagement to Bond was revealed in April, Garcia was seen holding hands with model Grace Boor while on a boardwalk in Miami, according to photos obtained by The Post.
