Boxing star Ryan Garcia was arrested Saturday at a Beverly Hills hotel for alleged vandalism.

Garcia, 25, was at the Waldorf Astoria where he allegedly caused an estimated $15,000 in damage, according to TMZ.

Beverly Hills police arrived at the hotel around 5:45 p.m. after the boxer allegedly damaged property in the hotel, including in his room and in a hallway.

Once the police arrived, the hotel decided to file a complaint. It's unclear what exactly led to the violent situation, but he may have been under the influence of alcohol and/or drugs, TMZ reports.

Photos obtained by witnesses showed Garcia being led toward a patrol car while he was shirtless and wearing a black motorcycle helmet.

Garcia was taken into custody by police and booked on suspicion of criminal vandalism. He was then released on Saturday evening.

He is currently facing suspension from the New York Athletic Commission after testing positive for the banned substance Ostarine before his surprise victory over Devin Haney in April.

ESPN reported that Garcia tested positive for the performance-enhancing substance Ostarine the day before and the day of the April 20 fight, citing a letter from the Voluntary Anti-Doping Association.

Ostarine is a selective androgen receptor modulator and its use can stimulate muscle growth. It is banned by the World Anti-Doping Agency.

Garcia categorically denied breaking the rules in a video posted on X.

“I’ve never taken steroids in my life,” Garcia said. “I don’t even know where to get steroids. Ultimately, I barely take supplements.

Garcia's victory could be overturned if the positive drug test is confirmed.

No further details about the Beverly Hills incident have been released.
