Bowling Green woman arrested after alleged altercation

BOWLING GREEN, Ky. — A Bowling Green woman faces multiple charges after police said she responded to a fight in progress Tuesday.

According to a uniform citation, the Bowling Green Police Department responded to Fairview Boiling Springs Road around 11:02 p.m.

According to police, the caller said Tashika Robinson, 43, of Bowling Green, had just pulled into her driveway and pointed a handgun at her and several people.

The caller also said Robinson left the scene when he said a child was present, police said. Upon responding, police said the caller reported Robinson was physically fighting with the homeowner.

Police said they spoke to Robinson at the scene and detected the odor of marijuana coming from his residence.

According to police, the caller said Robinson was crazy about lava rocks for a grill.

After executing a search warrant at Robinson's home, police say they found glass pipes with residue, a clear bag with white residue, marijuana grinders, a marijuana pipe and a handgun.

As Robinson was transported to the Warren County Detention Center, police said they hoped the officer and his children would be injured.

Robinson is charged with possession of a handgun by a convicted felon, first-degree reckless endangerment, tampering with physical evidence, first-degree possession of a controlled substance first offense (methamphetamine), possession of marijuana, purchase or possession of drug paraphernalia, fourth-degree assault (no visible injury) and uttering threats.
