Boston stabbing under investigation – NBC Boston

Police are investigating a stabbing that occurred Saturday night in downtown Boston.

Boston police said they responded to a report of a person stabbed in the area of ​​Milk and Washington streets at 6:46 p.m. Upon arrival, police said officers located one victim, who was transported to an area hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

The area was cordoned off with police tape on Saturday evening, and at least 20 officers were on hand to interview witnesses.

The first elements of the investigation indicate an altercation over scooters and a possible attempt to steal a scooter. Police said detectives attended the scene and will continue their investigation.

Two people are in custody, but police said charges have not yet been determined.

Knife attack at South Boston Whole Foods store

The incident was one of two stabbings that occurred in Boston on Saturday. Earlier in the day, around 1:30 p.m., police received a call about a person being stabbed at the South End Whole Foods supermarket on Harrison Avenue.

One person was taken to a local hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

No arrests have been made and the investigation is ongoing.
