Boston Police Investigating Serious Stabbing Case Saturday Night in Jamaica Plain – Boston 25 News

JAMAICA PLAIN — Boston police are investigating a serious stabbing Saturday evening near busy Egleston Place in Jamaica Plain.

It happened near 3096 Washington Street in Japan, near Columbus Avenue.

Police say they responded to a call shortly before 9 p.m. about a person who had been stabbed. They did not say whether the person stabbed was a man or a woman.

Just after 10 p.m., police updated Boston 25 News and said the victim had life-threatening injuries.

“Homicide detectives have been notified and are responding.” according to a police press release.

There have been no arrests and police say an investigation is ongoing.
