Bossier Sheriff's Office investigates shooting death of Shreveport man in Bossier Parish – Bossier Press-Tribune

Bossier Sheriff's Office detectives are investigating the shooting death of an elderly Shreveport man who
was killed shortly before 7 p.m. at a residence just south of Benton. Detectives say
the victim had just entered the driveway of the residence and got out of his vehicle when a suspect
identified as a black man wearing a black hooded sweatshirt, approached him and shot him several times.

but to no avail, the victim was pronounced dead at the scene.

During the ensuing investigation, detectives were able to locate the suspect vehicle at a residence in
North Shreveport. This led to the execution of two search warrants by Shreveport police.
The department's Special Response Team and investigators from the Bossier Sheriff's Office early in the morning
on June 14 at two locations in Shreveport.

As the investigation progressed, detectives were able to identify Destiny Landers, 23 of Shreveport, as the
driver of the suspect vehicle and Delandro Fleming, 22 of Shreveport, as suspect in the homicide which
occurred in Bossier Parish.

Landers was arrested during the execution of one of the search warrants and Fleming was arrested at some point.

The motive for the shooting has not yet been determined.

Landers will be incarcerated in Bossier Max for first degree murder with bail set at
$500,000.

Fleming will be incarcerated in Bossier Max for first degree murder with bail set at
$1,000,000.
