Ginter was arrested by the Scott County Sheriff's Office just after midnight Saturday in the area of Cynthiana Road and Muddy Ford.

Deputies say he was found with two handguns, two rifles, more than $60,000 in cash and 16 fake identification cards.

Ginter was wanted out of South Carolina since early June after he was convicted of abusing his 3-year-old. Police say he failed to appear in court.

Riley Pearson, who was believed to be helping Ginter, was also arrested.

Witnesses reported a suspicious person walking down Cynthiana Road around midnight on Friday. Scott County Sheriff's deputies discovered the pair and took them into custody without incident.

Ginter and Pearson had been on the run in the Harrison/Scott County area, after US Marshals attempted to make contact with the pair last Tuesday. The owner of Hidden Lake Farm Campground in Harrison County said they had been renting there for weeks.

US Marshals were offering a reward of up to $10,000 for information that would lead to his arrest.

A not-guilty plea was entered for Ginter in court on Tuesday. A preliminary hearing for Ginter is set for July 2 at 1:30 pm
