Body found in Summit Lake identified as Roniel Lee Otis

Akron police and firefighters initially responded around 5:45 p.m. to the 400 block of Ira Avenue after a caller reported seeing Otis' body in the water. Otis was pronounced dead at the scene shortly after the Akron Fire Department dive team recovered the body from the lake.

An investigation is underway. The autopsy is also underway, the medical examiner's office said in a statement.
