Body found in Donna ditch identified

DONNA, Texas (ValleyCentral) — The body of a Donna resident who was found in a ditch Monday evening has been identified.

The body of Abraham Cedillo, 36, was found in a neighborhood ditch on Whalen Road around 6 p.m. by someone passing by, according to Donna police.

Cedillo is believed to have collapsed in the ditch, according to Sergeant Adrian Hooks of the Donna Police Department.

No foul play is suspected.

Authorities are awaiting toxicology reports because the cause of the accident is still not known.
