Body found in Arkansas River identified as Devlin Cambeul | News

The Otero County coroner identified the body pulled from the Arkansas River near La Junta last week as missing 19-year-old Devlin Cambeul.

Less than a week after Cambeul disappeared June 12 in the river, a body was found 3.14 miles from La Junta's main gate. The Otero County Sheriff's Office announced the discovery on June 18, saying the body was found around 6:40 p.m.

A previous Gazette article revealed that Robert Fowler, the county coroner, said the clothing worn on the body matched that of Cambeul.
