Body Found by St. Cloud Tech High School Identified by Police

The deceased was identified as Mohamed Mustaf Mohamud, 26, of St. Cloud, according to a news release. Authorities determined that Mohamud died as a result of the fire, with no “criminal act” involved.

The St. Cloud Police Department received assistance from the St. Cloud Fire Department, Minnesota Bureau of Criminal Apprehension, Minnesota State Fire Marshal's Office and Midwest Medical Examiner's Office.

St. Cloud Police Chief Jeffery Oxton did not respond to inquiries from the St. Cloud Times.
