Bodies of teenage girl and man found in San Jacinto River in Texas

The bodies of a man and a teenage girl, believed to be father and daughter, were found in the San Jacinto River near Houston, Texas, officials said.

Harris County Sheriff Ed Gonzalez said in an article on half an hour from Houston.

Two people, believed to be a father and daughter aged approximately 38 and 14, respectively, “had not resurfaced from the water,” Gonzales said in his post.

Divers and boats from marine units arrived at the scene and were able to recover the teen's body Sunday evening, Gonzalez said. The adult man's body was found Monday morning.
