Blasdell man accused of stabbing victim in neck at Cheektowaga Hotel

BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) — A Blasdell man was arrested Thursday evening after allegedly stabbing a victim in the neck at a Cheektowaga hotel, seriously injuring her, Cheektowaga police said.

Police said Zachary Turner, 28, allegedly stabbed a 25-year-old man in the neck following a fight around 10:45 p.m. at the M Hotel on Walden Avenue.


Officers administered life-saving measures to the victim upon arrival and he was transported to ECMC where he is currently in critical condition, according to authorities.

Turner was charged with first-degree assault and fourth-degree criminal possession of a weapon. He was arrested and is being held at the Erie County Detention Center.
