According to police sources, a team of Lucknow ATS along with Baghdah police raided Roy's house in Gangulia on Monday afternoon. “He was traced by the UP police following a telephonic conversation with a Bangladeshi national, who had crossed the border illegally several times, over phone. He was questioned by the UP police and arrested later,” a senior police officer said. Roy has been charged with forgery, human trafficking and criminal conspiracy under sections 419, 420, 467, 471 and 120b of the Indian Penal Code.
