The Jefferson County Coroner's Office has identified the victim of a fatal interstate crash in Birmingham. Renardo Laron Fletcher was killed when his SUV was involved in a crash with an 18-wheeler truck. BIRMINGHAM, Ala. —

The Jefferson County Coroner's Office has identified the victim of a fatal interstate crash in Birmingham.

Renardo Laron Fletcher was killed when his SUV was involved in a crash with an 18-wheeler truck. The 45-year-old man from Birmingham was pronounced dead at the scene.

The crash involving a tractor-trailer occurred Thursday afternoon on Tallapoosa Street at the I-59/20 off-ramp.

The driver of the tractor-trailer was treated at the scene for his injuries.
