Bionca Ellis charged with aggravated murder of toddler

Bionca Ellis, 32, was just charged with the aggravated murder of three-year-old Julian Wood after stabbing him to death in the parking lot of the North Olmsted Giant Eagle store in Cleveland, Ohio. When Ellis' accusations were read, she had a menacing smile on her face.

Little Julian and his mother, Margot Wood, were returning to their vehicle last week after shopping when Ellis allegedly ran toward them with a knife she had just stolen from a thrift store. Both individuals were stabbed in what appears to be a random act of violence, as reports indicate the suspect and victims had no prior interaction.

Police responded to several 911 calls regarding the incident, but unfortunately, it was too late.

Ms Wood was injured, but her son, aged just three, died at a local hospital after being stabbed twice.

Ellis was charged with murder and attempted murder by a Cuyahoga County grand jury. The jury also indicted Ellis on charges of aggravated murder, child endangerment, tampering with evidence, aggravated robbery and two counts of felonious assault.

What's really shocking, aside from the fact that this lady is suspected of stabbing a three-year-old child, is that when the charges were read out, Ellis had a smile on her face. She actually looked directly at the camera and gave a small smile and raised her eyebrows. Ellis seemed completely unfazed by what was happening.

Ellis even looked like he was letting out a chuckle or laughing a few times.

The judge, after reading the indictment, asked Ellis if she wanted to plead not guilty.

“Yes,” Ellis replied confidently before the judge asked her to clarify whether she meant yes or no.

“Yes,” Ellis said, starting to smile again.

Moments later, Mr. Wood entered the room and noted that “a week ago she [Ellis] took everything from us. He added that nothing could “ever replace” his adorable son, Julian. Mr. Wood pleaded with the judge: “do everything you can to keep this monster behind bars.”

He looked like he was on the verge of depression, as any man would be who has just lost his son and almost lost his wife.

Bail was set at $5 million, $4 million more than the amount originally set Friday before Julian's death, the judge said in a video detailing the events.

Mr. Wood was right. If it's true that Ellis killed innocent Julian, he's a monster.
