Bike stolen, no suspect identified

A maroon and burgundy 2006 Yamaha SZ600 valued at $25,000 was stolen from the 700 block of N Santa Fe.

Police Capt. James Feldman told KSAL the bike was being worked on by a 37-year-old Salina man on June 22 when it was stolen two days later on June 24.

The victim left the motorcycle on June 22 and returned to report the Yamaha stolen at 4 p.m. on June 24.

Captain Feldman says the Yamaha has a black painted windshield with no tags.

No suspects have yet been identified.
