WICHITA, Kan. (KWCH) – A look at some of the top news stories for Thursday, June 6, 2024:

Biden trial – Hallie Biden is expected to testify Thursday in Hunter Biden's federal gun trial. She was the widow of Beau Biden and later had a romantic relationship with Hunter Biden. Defense attorneys say Hallie removed Hunter's gun from a safe and threw it in a dumpster. Prosecutors are trying to prove Hunter Biden illegally purchased the gun in 2018, lying on the application about his drug use.

Shooting victim identified – Wichita police have identified the man killed in a fatal shooting Tuesday evening. Quinton Gordon, 27, was shot and killed near Harry and Oliver. Police said the shooting stemmed from an argument. No arrests have been made.

Gove County Scam – The Gove County Sheriff's Office says scammers are sending flyers saying if you send them money you'll receive $1,000 in gift cards. Scammers have also created fake Facebook accounts where they ask you to buy gift cards and send them photos. If something like this happens to you, contact local law enforcement.
