Bethel parents arrested after 2-year-old overdrugs

The parents of a 2-year-old boy have been charged after the child overdosed on drugs in Bethel on Sunday. Police said officers were called Sunday to reports of an unconscious child. The 2-year-old was taken to Mercy Hospital in Anderson and then flown to Cincinnati Children's Hospital to be treated for an overdose. The child was able to survive after receiving treatment. Police said medical results showed the child had high levels of marijuana and cocaine in his system. Officers with the Bethel Police Department said they executed an arrest warrant at an apartment Wednesday. Travis Lelesch and Ashley Lelesch, both 23, were each charged with child endangerment. Both were arrested and taken to the Clermont County Jail. Police said the child was taken into the custody of Child Protective Services.
