Best Secondary Weapon to Use in XDefiant

There are five secondary weapons in total to choose from in XDefiant, but which one is overall the best to use for your loads? Although each gun has its strengths and weaknesses, one of them stands out above the rest.

Best pistol XDefiant

Before we go any further, here is a list of all the guns currently available XDefiant:

  • 686 magnums
  • M1911
  • D50
  • 93R
  • M9

None of the guns are extremely bad, so you can run any one in a loadout and see some success with all five. However, if you just want to use the best without any other considerations, you should equip the 93R with XDefiant.

The 93R is a three-shot burst pistol similar to the Renetti in Call of Duty. It has a decent sized magazine, virtually no recoil, a high rate of fire, and solid damage. Although you may see some markers with the 93R, it's probably because you're missing individual shots in each of your bursts. You need to be extremely accurate with the three-round burst pistol to really reap the rewards of using it.

If you're able to shoot consistently, you can almost use the 93R as your primary weapon on smaller maps in XDefiant. It can kill extremely quickly at close to mid range and is very mobile, allowing you to easily roam across the entire map.

However, if you're not feeling the 93R for some reason, my next suggestion is to use the M9 pistol as your secondary weapon. A classic single-shot weapon, the M9 also has a high fire rate and damage, and is just as mobile as the 93R. The only downside to the M9 is that it doesn't have the same potential kill time as the 93R, so you might get shot down before you can finish off an enemy.

As for the remaining three guns, none of them are unusable. The D50 is a replica of the Desert Eagle, so it is a high risk, high reward weapon that requires pinpoint accuracy. The 686 Magnum is a slow-firing, high-damage pistol, primarily effective at close range. Finally, the M1911 is another standard single-shot pistol that shares many qualities with the M9. However, it doesn't have the same damage, so you'll have to rely on rate of fire and accuracy to kill enemies.

Overall, while the 93R is the better option, it's hard to go wrong with most guns available. XDefiant.
