Baton Rouge Man Arrested, Charged With Having 50 Files of Child Pornography

BATON ROUGE, La. (BRPROUD) — The East Baton Rouge Sheriff's Office has arrested a Baton Rouge man accused of having 50 files of child pornography.

Devin Triche, 38, was arrested by EBRSO detectives after it was learned that Triche had downloaded child sexual abuse material.

Arrest documents indicate that on April 30, EBRSO detectives received a tip from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children (NCMEC) regarding two files containing child sexual abuse material.

On March 29 and April 18, Microsoft reported an account that uploaded child sexual abuse material under the name “Devin Tricha.” The content included photos of minors naked next to each other.

Search warrants and subpoenas were issued to verify the IP address used to download the child sexual abuse images. Detectives learned that the IP address traced back to Triche, according to arrest documents.

On June 25, a search warrant was issued for Triche's home, and the search took place on July 2. After conducting interviews, Triche admitted to downloading the material multiple times. During a search of the property, at least two bestiality videos and 50 files of child sexual abuse material were discovered, according to the sheriff's office.

Triche was arrested and booked into the East Baton Rouge Parish Jail on 100 counts of child pornography and two counts of sexual abuse of an animal.
