BALTIMORE, MD—A U.S. district judge sentenced a 46-year-old Baltimore man to prison for his role in three armed robberies at a cell phone store.

Gary Leon Holloway will now serve 14 years in prison and four years of supervised release, according to a news release from the U.S. Attorney's Office for the District of Maryland.

Holloway and his co-conspirators planned and committed armed robberies at three commercial businesses in January 2020, according to the guilty plea.

On Jan. 4, 15 and 22, Holloway and at least one of his co-defendants burglarized cell phone stores in Ellicott City, Glen Burnie and Dundalk, respectively, the U.S. Attorney's Office said.

During each robbery, Holloway brandished a gun and he and his co-defendant stole cell phones and other electronic devices.

In the third robbery, Holloway and two co-defendants forced two employees to open and empty a safe, taking cash and other electronic devices.

Holloway and two co-defendants were arrested in Baltimore County after the third robbery.

This case was investigated by the Baltimore Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF) Field Division, Howard County Police Department, County Police Department from Anne Arundel, Baltimore County Police Department and the Baltimore Police Department.
