Authorities identify driver who died in fiery highway crash

State police have identified the victim in Wednesday morning's fatal crash on Frontage Road in Boston, when a car struck a concrete barrier on Mass. Ave Connector and fell 40 feet onto an exit ramp below.

Casey Brown, 31, of Plymouth, was driving on Mass. Ave Connector around 9:40 a.m. when it struck the side of the intersection, police said. After plunging 40 feet, the car landed upside down and was engulfed in flames.

Medical personnel pronounced Brown dead at the scene.

The accident is still under investigation.
