Authorities arrest man in connection with Laconia bar shooting

A Concord man has been arrested in connection with a shooting at a Laconia bar, authorities said. On May 19, Laconia police said they responded to the Big House nightclub around 1 a.m. after a report of shots fired. Authorities said when they arrived they found a person with a head injury across the street from the venue. Authorities said a fight broke out. inside the Big House nightclub, and someone allegedly fired a bullet into the ground. Police said the person who allegedly fired the shot was identified as Charles Sonny Anzaldi Jr., 24, of Concord. Authorities said Anzaldi turned himself in to police Thursday. He was charged with reckless driving with a deadly weapon and criminal threatening with a deadly weapon. Anzaldi was released on personal recognizance bail. Anyone with information about the shooting is asked to contact Laconia Police.

Authorities said a fight broke out inside the Big House nightclub and someone allegedly fired a bullet into the floor. Police said the person who allegedly fired the shot was identified as Charles Sonny Anzaldi Jr., 24, of Concord.

Authorities said Anzaldi turned himself in to police Thursday.

He was charged with reckless driving with a deadly weapon and criminal threatening with a deadly weapon. Anzaldi was released on personal recognizance bail.
